About Illuminate Night Market
Since 2019, Recreate NZ’s Illuminate Night Market has been a celebration of self-determination, financial autonomy, and social inclusion. This free community market brings together market stalls, food trucks, creative workshops, family activities, and live performances, all led by stallholders from diverse abilities or those challenging the status quo.
Every stall-holder represents a community of change-makers, including participants from Recreate NZ’s MOXIE work-skills programme, empowering young people towards employment and independence.
