Recreate NZ Code of Conduct
Purpose
The purpose of this Code of Conduct is to ensure a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment for all participants, volunteers, and staff of Recreate NZ. Our goal is to foster a community where everyone feels valued and empowered to contribute positively.
Core Values
Expected Behaviour
We ask that all participants, staff and volunteers conduct themselves respectfully at all times while on Recreate NZ programmes. Respect the confidentiality of sensitive information and take responsibility for your actions, adhering to all organisational policies and guidelines.
Unacceptable Behaviour
Harassment, bullying, or discrimination based on race, gender, sexual orientation, disability, religion, or any personal characteristic is strictly prohibited. Violence, threats, intimidation, or behaviour that comprimises the safety of a Recreate NZ programme will not be tolerated.
Reporting and Resolution
If you witness or experience behaviour that contravenes this Recreate NZ Code of Conduct, please report it to your Facilitator, Coordinator or an Operations staff member within the organization. All reports will be taken seriously and addressed promptly. Recreate NZ is committed to addressing issues in a fair and unbiased manner and ensuring appropriate actions are taken.
